Mr.Srivastava, a venture capitalist and private equity investor since 2006, is the Managing Partner of Basil Partners-a private equity firm with a proven record of incubating, building and managing global enterprises. The current valuations of his investments are approximately five times the initial investment.Mr.Srivastava founded Apar Holding Corporation in Singapore in 1996, and transformed the company into a Global IT business.
Prior to Apar Holding, he worked with iGate and TCS. Rajeev has been an investor and active board member in multiple companies, including Encora Group BVI, Apar Holding Corp, Cignex Technologies, and Suvin Technologies. He has successfully nurtured and guided some of these companies through mergers, acquisitions and IPOs.

In late 80’s when Offshore Outsourcing was taking its baby steps, Mr. Gupta was amongst the select group of business leaders helping the world realize the economic potential which Offshore Outsourcing had to offer. He pioneered the concept of outsourcing to Wall Street firms and also developed some of the first technology Centers of Excellence (CoEs), both in the USA and in India. Some of the innovations that Mr. Gupta brought about have become standard operating procedures in the IT Offshore Outsourcing industry today.
He brings to the table deep insight in the Offshore Outsourcing domain, his network developed over decades and access to the CEOs of implementation partners handling offshore projects for D2E clients.
Joe Makoid is a dynamic leader of innovative information technology ventures. Joe focuses on business development and strategic partnerships with premier technology companies such as Dell, Acer, IBM, and Lenovo to help drive sales growth.
His previous IT industry background includes leadership positions at Siemens Nixdorf, BusTech, Data Center Direct, MSPI, Tarantella, and Devon IT. In 2013 Joe co-founded and orchestrated a divestiture of HiveIO, Inc. from one of the world’s largest financial institutions. In 2017 he spearheaded HiveIO’s efforts to acquire Atlantis Computing assets. In 2017-18 Joe co-founded Cloud Therapeutics Inc., a medical technology company and MakTrax, Inc., a strategic investment and business development firm. Joe sits on the board of directors of several technology companies. In 2005 he was inducted into the Villanova University Athletics Hall of Fame.
Kerrie Hoffman specializes in business growth and digital transformation. She has experience in multiple Industries where she’s worked a variety of roles including CIO, operations, supply chain and sales. Kerrie’s previous employments were at Aurora Health Care, Johnson & Johnson and Johnson Controls. She was CIO of a Business Unit at Johnson Controls.
Kerrie is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, the CIO Evanta Inner Circle, Advisory Boards for The Hackett Group and HMG, and a member of SIM. Kerrie is also active in the community as a Board Member of Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast and an active member of the United Way IT United Donor Network.

Balaji has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, across application value management, infrastructure management, BPO and Strategic Operations handling, P&L, Delivery, Operations and customer relations across multiple verticals which includes Information Services, Retail & Hospitality, Media & Publishing, Manufacturing & Logistics, and Consumer goods. Balaji has played various roles across geographies viz., USA, Continental Europe, and Asia Pacific, through his previous stints at Patni Computers, L&T Infotech, Cognizant Technology Solutions, and Virtusa Software Solution Limited.
Balaji’s enthusiasm, energy and client focus is a rare gift, and he plays a key role in bringing new clients into GAVS. Balaji heads the Delivery and passionately works on Customer delight. Chandra Mouleswaran SHead, Infra Services
Chandra heads the IMS practice at GAVS. He has around 25+ years of rich experience in IT Infrastructure Management, enterprise applications design & development and incubation of new products / services in various industries. He was with Genpact earlier, where he had served as CTO for about 7 years before becoming the leader of IP Creation. He had built a new virtual desktop service called LeanDeskSM for Genpact, from ‘concept’ to ‘commercialization’.
He has also created a patent for a mistake proofing application called ‘Advanced Command Interface”. He thinks ahead and his implementation of ‘disk based backup using SAN replication’ in one of his previous organizations as early as in 2005 is a proof of his visionary skills. Chandra is a graduate in Electronics and communication engineering.
Chandra once an avid reader, always sees things from a completely new perspective. He brings those new perspectives in his writing. He wrote about the feelings of a ‘self-respecting’ individual who was caught between waters and survival during the floods in 2015. He captured the feelings of an upcoming fast bowler when Phil Hughes died from a bouncer from Sean Abbott. Against everyone’s wish and prayer, he wrote why Tendulkar should stop at 99 centuries and not try 100. He has plenty of such short stories to write, but not finding time to write them. He has reserved all of them for ‘post retirement’ life. He loves cooking, housekeeping and helping his wife in the morning hours. He jokes his wife hates cricket as much as he loves it.

Mr. Chandrasekar heads our Middle East Operations, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, covering Middle East & APAC geographies. He has led both large, multicultural conglomerates and mid-sized, agile organizations with equal adept. Having driven both IT services & products businesses in the past that requires culturally different mindsets, he continues to add tremendous value to the organization, building & innovating processes. His focus includes growth & expansion through new market creation and acquisition.
He holds Post Graduate degrees in Computer Applications and Management. As an avid networker, he connects with people from all walks of life & always keeps his relationships active. He also spends his spare time watching business shows, movies, playing badminton & traveling.
Guru BhoopalaHead of Sales, US
Guru heads the US Sales and is based out of Chicago. He is responsible for the overall business development, customer acquisition, customer engagement, customer growth and client services for GAVS’ growing list of clientele and stakeholders in the US. Guru has over 20 plus years of business leadership experience across industries and geographies. He joined GAVS from a cloud services startup, where he was the Managing Partner. Prior to that, he was the Vice President and part of the Leadership Team at iGate Corp and was responsible for multiple industry verticals.
He is also experienced in marketing and has driven marketing for global companies like Coca-Cola and Asian Paints.He has expertise in engaging with global 2000 CXOs, building businesses through client engagement, building value based relationships and crafting solutions that addresses client business problems. He holds an engineering degree and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from IIM Bangalore, India.His interests include writing blogs on various technology and business issues. Guru is a passionate trekker and a runner and has participated in several marathons and trekked in various regions of the world.
Murali BabuHead, Talent Acquisition & Workforce Mgmt
Murali is the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Management. His responsibility entails attracting competent talent into the organization and ensuring availability of right resources to support the delivery organization and fulfill strategic business needs. He has over 2 decades of experience in Human Resources functions, predominantly in Talent Acquisition spanning across the Asia Pacific, China and Japan regions. He started his career with Ma Foi and then moved to Covansys / CSC and spent over 12 years in Singapore managing positions such as Director of Human Resources & Recruitment for Covansys / CSC and Country Manager for Synova.
Murali holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Loyola College, Chennai, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, specialized in Personnel Management from Madras School of Social Work, Chennai. He is a professional member of the Singapore Human Resources Institute.
Murali enjoys playing badminton with his daughter during the weekends, passionate about evening walks over the weekends, follows cricket and current affairs.
Narasimha Shenoy DChief Financial Officer
Shenoy is responsible for managing the financial reporting, business finance, financial governance and compliance functions at GAVS. He has over 20years of experience in various aspects of finance. His key strengths are strategic and financial planning, budgeting and internal control, cash flow monitoring, profit monitoring, and administration.
He holds an MBA in Finance and a Certification in General Management from IIM Ahmedabad. Prior to GAVS, he was with Computer Sciences Corporation India for almost 20 years, where he started as a Finance and Account Executive and progressed into various strategic roles including the Controllership of Finance in CSC, India.
Shenoy is a huge cricket fan and cricket keeps him busy during the weekends. He enjoys travelling when he finds the time, and partying with his friends.
Rao HaridasuHead, Solutions and Strategy
Rao has with over 19 years of IT experience in global delivery management, practice incubation and setup, multi-geography client engagement, business development and operations. He has 360-degree exposure to IT services including strategy definition, business development, and execution of enterprise-wide change management initiatives. At GAVS, Rao has played a variety of roles including delivery management for key verticals and program management for large transformation projects
In his current role as Head of Solutions and Strategy, Rao is closely involved in defining the go-to-market strategies, enhancing service offerings, managing the partner eco-system, driving pre-sales and marketing. He works closely with the sales and technology teams in driving innovative solutions best suited for our clients.
Rao follows cricket keenly and loves to travel. He aspires to be an interior designer in future.
Ruth AarthyHead HR
Ruth has over 19 years of experience with adept knowledge on the entire gamut of HR functions; specialized in aligning HR function to business, focusing on transformation and strategy. She has spearheaded mergers and acquisitions of HR function and driven business by employing effective HRD initiatives as a positive instrument. Her core competencies include business partnering, performance management, OD interventions, and communication platforms, strengthening employee engagement, designing policies and defining processes.

Srini is a seasoned IT Professional with expertise in Social, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud Computing. He develops solutions that are futuristic in nature and in alignment with industry analysts. He is a seasoned enterprise IT expert, mainly in the areas of solution, integration and architecture, across structured, unstructured data sources. His latest work involves Natural Language Processing, Semantic Enrichment of Unstructured Data, Data Mining and Predictive Analytics.

Mr.Anderman was the COO of Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center until 2014.He joined the hospital’s executive staff in July 1998. Mr. Anderman has a public service career with the New York State Department of Health, spanning over 20 years. He was the Deputy Director with the Health Care Financing Program for New York State for over 13 years.He has an M.S. and an MBA in Health Administration from Union College in Schenectady, New York and a B.S. from SUNY College at Potsdam, New York.

Bill Aimetti is an acknowledged leader in the BFS industry as well as in Capital Markets. He is a Regent at Seton Hall University and has been Advisor to international IT companies. In addition, Aimetti has chaired the Securities Operations Division of the SIA (now SIFMA), and served on the board of CEDEL (now Clearstream).

Sameer has over 23 years of experience in the IT Industry with focus on Global Business Development, Alliances, Marketing & Analyst Relations and Strategy for IT Products & Services. At Basil Partners, Sameer is involved in working closely with Basil Partner’s portfolio companies to help drive their growth strategies, including identifying, screening and carrying out due diligence on potential M&A targets.
He is currently also on the Board of Directors of Apar Technologies, Accion Labs and Relevance Lab. He was on the Advisory Board of CIGNEX Datamatics, Endeavour Technologies, Netscribes and Neev Technologies.
Prior to joining Basil Partners on a dedicated basis, Sameer represented the Basil team at Powerdesk Technologies as Global Director – Sales & Marketing. He was responsible for conceptualizing and launching a patented IT Product to reduce Operational Expenses of Enterprises across Power, Space and IT Security. He has also worked with Ness Technologies where he was responsible for Strategy & Business Development for the UK SBU, Global Pre-sales & as an Offshore Evangelist, and prior to that he was Head, Apar Consulting Solutions Division – Asia-Pac based in Singapore. Soma is CEO of Basil Technology Partners Pte. Ltd. based out of Singapore. She is a veteran of the Asian private equity market with special focus on knowledge based industries, including technology and tech enabled services and Secondaries private equity investing. She was instrumental in ideating and structuring the spinout of Basil into an independent GP and Fund.
Prior to Basil, Soma was founding Partner and CEO at a secondaries focused private equity firm in Singapore with AUM of over USD 500m
Soma was previously a Partner with Credit Suisse Private Equity Asia (CSPEA), based out of Hong Kong and Mumbai, and was responsible for originating and advising on private equity opportunities in India and Asia, as well as working on some of the strategic fund raising related initiatives at CSPEA. Soma represented CSPEA’s interests on several boards including a pan Asian re-insurance company, a Japanese regional bank, and a travel technology company
Soma’s major stint prior to CSPEA was with GE Equity, where she was an investment professional with GE’s private equity division, initially as a key member of GE Equity’s India team, and later leading GE Equity’s India private equity initiative. She worked closely with the Asia Pacific business at GE, with a focus on pan Asian transactions. At GE, some of the transactions that she was involved with and also successfully managed included GE’s marquee investments in various leading India based multi-national technology services and media companies.
Soma has also spent time at a leading investment bank in India, where she established and led their Financial Sponsors Group. Soma started her career with HSBC and during her 21+ years of covering the Asian financial and private equity space, Soma has originated and managed several investments through their life cycle

Sumit GanguliBoard Member & CEO
Sumit is the CEO of GAVS Technologies. He is also on the board of few technology companies.
He has been in the Information Technology industry for the last 25+ years and is fascinated with the new trends in technologies in Predictive Analytics, AI, Automation etc.. and is promoting some of these competencies at GAVS. Sumit is a strong proponent of Culture in the corporate world, and believes, “Culture eats strategy for breakfast”. The leadership team at GAVS and Sumit would like to create a company of “Purpose” within GAVS and espouse the values of Respect, Integrity, Trust and Empathy through their business interactions.
In the past he has been the Head of M&A, Consulting and Global Sales for a publicly-traded (NASDAQ) IT Services company and has been the CEO of a publicly listed company. He has pursued a JV with GE and has engaged with GE for over 15 years. He is an Electrical Engineer and has a PG in Management from IIM Kolkata and an Advanced Professional Certificate from Stern School of Management, NYU. He is presently undergoing an OPM Executive Program at HBS. He has been an Adjunct Professor teaching Executive MBA and Part time MBA students at Rutgers University, State University of New Jersey. He is one of the founder charter members of TiE NJ/Phily and has been a guest speaker at various industry forums, Universities and MBA schools.
Individually and through GAVS, Sumit has been involved in various community service activities, and actively pursues tennis, golf and gym activities.
